Patrick Kondas is a seasoned entertainment attorney providing legal services to clients across the film and television industry. He has served as production legal counsel for countless scripted and documentary film projects, from Oscar-nominated productions to arthouse films, and works with award-winning directors, producers, writers, and studios.
Patrick began his legal career as a litigator, experience which enables him to anticipate potential disputes and meticulously craft contracts that safeguard the interests of his clients. In his entertainment law practice, Patrick approaches each matter with the same attention to detail and an unwavering dedication to achieving optimal outcomes. He is committed to working closely with his clients and counseling them on best practices, so they not only get the best results, but understand entertainment legal issues on a macro and micro level. More than just providing legal counsel, Patrick’s clients see him as part of their team.
In June 2024, Patrick joined Gray Schwartz, LLP as senior counsel, where he is thrilled to contribute his expertise to the firm’s distinguished legacy. Prior to joining Gray Schwartz, Patrick founded Kondas Law, a boutique entertainment law firm with a reputation for delivering bespoke legal solutions marked by precision, diligence, and a steadfast commitment to client satisfaction.
In addition to providing counsel through Gray Schwartz LLP, Patrick demonstrates his commitment to the arts by providing pro bono legal services through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. Patrick earned his B.A. from Florida State University, with dual majors in philosophy and English writing. He received his J.D. from St. John’s School of Law.
